eMARS – Major Accident Reporting System
(MARS is the official reporting software for submitting accident reports to the European Commission according to the criteria established in the Seveso II Directive. The current MARS database contains over 700 accidents and near misses collected since 1982 from the Member States. Accident reports can be searched and analysed to extract specific lessons learned about substances, equipment etc relevant to particular types of installations.)
